Students explain why they were present at Millbank for the protests against Cameron's government. They protested against the tution fees rising up to £9000 a year. Unfortunately the protest got out of hand and computers and windows were smashed. Some protesters said they have nothing to do with the people who used extreme methods. 10 people were taken to the hospital and 35 were arrested.
As usual, a few rowdy punks ruin it for the rest of the peaceful protesters, and the police get an excuse to shut the whole thing down. The media, instead of talking about the issue, focusing more on the exciting takedowns and arrests, crowd dispersals etc.
wow, 9000 pounds? that's overpriced as hell. UK's really desperate for cash because the government's not supporting the schools as much with the money gain per student.
